Shirley Rominger Intermediate School

In November 2001, the new grammar school in Winters was dedicated to my mother, Shirley Rominger, who had passed away in December 2000. Mom was instrumental in getting the bond passed to build the school and the dedication was a day my family will always remember. Last month I was invited to speak to Mr. Fridae’s 5th grade class to share memories of my mother, her love for her family, friends, and the community of Winters. What a special honor it was, and what an amazing class of students. Thank you for having me.
