Summer on the Farm

My favorite place to be as my family gets ready for harvest on the farm just outside of Winters. The fields are loaded with color, the pond is full of fish and the dogs are ready to play. Tomatoes, safflower, sunflowers, rice, almonds, it’s all here in Yolo (you only live once) County. It may be hotter than you know what, but there’s no place I’d rather be.
