A Quite Man
My Grandpa Rominger was a quiet man of great inner strength. He was a giant to me when I was a little girl and I loved sitting on his lap. He had the biggest hands I had ever seen and spent his entire life working the land as a farmer. He sometimes spent 12 hours a day driving the tractor. Grandpa was born in 1897 and passed away thirty years ago. I was the oldest of his 17 grandkids and he always made me feel special. I became who I am because of the way my Dad and Mom raised me, because of the way Grandpa and Grandma raised my Dad. I treasure the memories of my Grandpa and am fortunate to have such strong and loving men in my life as role models.
