Happy Birthday, Dad!

This past week my Dad celebrated 86 years! He was 3 years old when my Grandpa and Grandma moved with their children to the farm where my Dad was raised and worked in the fields since he was 6 years old, the same farm where I grew up. Can you imagine doing the same thing for 80 years? My Dad did! Farming is not just a job, it is a way of life, and my Dad has lived a wonderful life. I couldn’t ask for a more remarkable role model. Dad’s life has been about his family, his land, his God and his country. I am one lucky daughter. Happy Birthday Dad!
